Skin Treatments
1. What is Hydrafacial?
HydraFacial is a no-downtime, non-surgical skin resurfacing treatment that achieves the results of an advanced facial in just 30 minutes. The secret to HydraFacial is a patented spiral tip that can simultaneously exfoliate, clear blocked pores and deliver nourishing serums. Immediately after treatment you will see an instantly noticeable improvement in skin tone and texture.
HydraFacial delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
2. How many Capillary Reduction treatments are required for best results?
Vascular Lesion Treatments are effective and improvements can be seen after the first treatment. The number of required treatments will vary depending on the type and location of the vascular lesion. Broken capillaries on the facial area (usually on the cheeks, chin, and around the nose), will usually require 1-2 treatments done at monthly intervals.
For Laser Flushing, we recommend 4-6 treatments done at monthly intervals for optimum results. We treat angiomas in the clinic and it usually requires one treatment. Our experienced Skin Therapists will assess the vascular lesion and provide a tailored treatment plan suitable to your goals.
3. Does LED Light Therapy treat existing scars?
While this treatment does help with new wounds and active acne, it does not specifically treat existing scarring. Any existing scarring will require advanced treatments such as Skin Needling and Cosmetic Grade Peels in conjunction with our LED Light Therapy for best results.
4. What skin types are suitable for Pigmentation Removal?
Pigmentation Removal is suitable for individuals with fair to light skin tones and who are not prone to hyperpigmentation.
5. What is the downtime for Microdermabrasion?
There is no downtime for this treatment. You may experience slight redness after the treatment but this usually subsides within 24 hours. We recommend the Yellow LED Light Therapy after this treatment to help reduce the redness and provide anti-ageing benefits. Light mineral makeup can be applied directly after the treatment.
